ZMail (formerly ZHost Mail; "we", "our", "the service") is a webmail service operated by RampsBD. It is available on the web (for example at webmail.zhost.stream) and through the ZMail Android app (stream.zhost.webmail), which opens the webmail server you choose. This policy explains what data the app and our webmail servers collect, why, and what you can do about it.
To provide your mailbox, the following data is sent from your device to the webmail server you sign in to and is stored on it:
On your device, the Android app stores your server address, email address and password so that it can sign you in automatically and check for new mail in the background.
We do not collect location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, contacts from your phone, or analytics or tracking data. The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
Your data is used only to provide the service:
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
If your administrator enables the AI writing assistant and you choose to use it, the instruction you type and the related email text are sent to an AI provider (such as Xiaomi MiMo, Google Gemini or OpenAI) to generate the response. This happens only when you use the feature. The provider processes the text on our behalf to return the result.
We do not share, sell or transfer your personal information to third parties, except:
Your cached email, contacts and settings are kept while your mailbox is in use.
To request deletion of your ZMail account and data (RampsBD):
What is deleted: your stored password, the cached copies of your email and attachments, your contacts, labels, profile details, signature, settings, linked-mailbox entries and AI usage records. If you ask for the mailbox to be closed, the mailbox and the email on the mail server are deleted too.
What may be kept: server logs (such as sign-in times and IP addresses) for up to 90 days for security, and anything we are required by law to keep.
To remove data from your phone only, sign out in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall it. If your mailbox is provided by an organisation, that organisation's administrator can also delete it.
ZMail is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
